Thulite is the pink variety of the mineral Zoisite; colored by the element Manganese in its composition. Thulite was first discovered in 1820 and was named after the ancient name of Scandinavia, “Thule”. It is the national stone of Norway. Thulite is found in the United States, Norway, Austrailia, Austria, and several other countries all over the globe. Thulite often grows with Quartz which is the white marbling you will find in some stones.

Care: Avoid prolonged exposure to heat (or extreme heat), direct sunlight and contact with abrasive surfaces or chemicals.
