Spessartine Garnet
Spessartine Garnet is a gorgeous stone belonging to the garnet group of minerals and is known as “Garnet of the Sun”. The Spessartine variety is one of the aluminum containing members of the Garnet group with a chemical composition of Mn3Al2(SiO4)3. Spessartine Garnet was named in 1832 by François Sulpice Beudant after its type locality in the Spessart Mountains, Germany.
