Seraphinite
Seraphinite is a variety of the mineral Clinochlore, a member of the chlorite group with a radiating structure. Seraphinite is named after the biblical seraphs or seraphim angels (the highest order of angels in Christianity) because of its beautiful feather-like appearance of the chatoyant fibers in the stone caused by mica inclusions. Seraphinite is mined from only one place in the world, in a limited area of eastern Siberia in Russia.
