Morganite
Morganite is a variety of beryl, a beryllium aluminum silicate mineral. Morganite belongs to the same mineral family as Aquamarine, Emerald, Heliodor, and Red Beryl (Bixbite). Morganite is colored from the presence of trace amounts of manganese in the crystal structure. It was first discovered in Madagascar, in 1910 and known as "pink beryl". George D. Kunz, a famous American gemologist and buyer for Tiffany & Company renamed a year after its discovery in honor of JP Morgan, a famous American banker and avid gemstone collector. Morganite can be found all over the globe with significant deposits in Madagascar and Brazil. Morganite is often used as an alternative to Diamond in engagement rings. Morganite is the ninth anniversary stone.
Morganite is a gentle healing stone that brings uplifting healing for emotional trauma, loss and heartbreak. Morganite helps us connect and feel the love from the Divine, Spirit or God/Goddess. I love to recommend Morganite to anyone who is trying to find their path and figuring out how to use their gifts to promote healing and peace on Earth.
