Que Sera, Llanite and Galaxy Rhyolite are trade names for a specific type of rhyolite, a volcanic rock with a high silica content. Its primarily composed of blue quartz, potassium feldspar (orthoclase), & biotite mica and also contains other minerals like kaolinite, iron oxides, magnetite, clinozoisite, and leucozene. Que Sera is known for its striking appearance, characterized by blue or bluish-gray quartz crystals embedded in a pink to reddish-brown matrix of orthoclase feldspar. Que Sera is a relatively rare stone most commonly sourced from the Llano Uplift area in Central Texas, USA. The Llano Uplift is a geological region known for its rich deposits of granite and other igneous rocks. Llanite found in this area is highly prized for its distinct coloration and unique mineral composition. While the majority of Que Sera Llanite specimens come from Texas, there have been smaller finds in other parts of the world like Brazil.
