Charoite is a rare mineral that is only found in Siberia, Russia, near the Chara River, of which it's named after. Charoite is believed to have formed during the Mesoproterozoic era, around 1.6 billion years ago. Charoite is known for its vibrant, royal purple color filled with beautiful swirls and a pearly lustre.
